Hunting Animals Preaches Extinction

Written by Merve on January 30, 2007

Apparently, extinction of certain species in the world is not because of natural causes, but rather the doing of their co-creatures. Man tops the list for being the primary reason for the fast race towards nearing extinction of certain animals, most coming from hunting them and using them as signs of achievements and distinction. Whales, bears and crocodiles are the ones nearing extinction and most of them are the ones hunted by man on land or sea.

Animals Nearing Extinction

Such has garnered the attention of certain groups, calling for movements to save the remaining species from nearing extinction. The include No Eating of Animal Meat and No Kill Movements to help save the welfare of concerned animals.

Animals Nearing Extinction

It is evident that man has caused the problem and hence man is expected to solve the crisis at hand. But causing the problem is easier than solving it, as this is the reason why the movements have been formed. Widespread awareness for the impending extinction of these mammals is at hand and without the efforts of these foundations, it would only be a matter of time before other races and species follow their demise.

Thriving on Fund Drives Using Classified Junk Materials

Written by Merve on January 28, 2007

Recycling used objects and things that would not have any more use is one of the common practices to which most people would use to convert them into cash or goods for donation to charity institutions. To most people, the value of junk and other trashed items would not have the same tag as it did before. Some would not even care on their use, content with just placing them in trash bags to help maintain their clean surroundings.

Waiting for Blessings

One man’s trash may be the benefit of another. This is something that best describes recycling used goods and converting them into something beneficial. There are still monetary values for such and people would be surprised at how much they could raise from such efforts. It is not entirely about cleaning up the trash, but rather converting cash into gold so that the needy people would benefit from them in whichever way possible.

Christmas Charities Tops the List for Fund Raising Events

Written by Merve on January 26, 2007

The holiday season is without question the busiest season of the year for gift giving and shopping for new stuff that any person can afford. However for some people, bringing Christmas to them is much more rewarding rather than self satisfaction in the form of cash and gifts.

Tanay Rizal Children

It is true that not all people, especially children from orphanages, are lucky to spend and appreciate the Yuletide season with their loved ones. However, each person in the world can do their part in trying to fill the empty void that these unfortunate people go through.

Spare cash, belongings and other items that may not be even used may be more appreciated by people who do not encounter them everyday. Thus, once the Yuletide season is here, it is not St. Nicholas who can make children happy in thought, but people who take pride in bringing joy to these needy creatures who have lost faith in the spirit of giving.

Fund Drives for a Worthy Cause

Written by Merve on January 20, 2007

Raising funds for a good cause to help out the lesser fortunate or to provide needs for some people will always be at the forefront of any organized event. People do not really have to spend a lot to make these things possible. It is a matter of giving to an extent to which they can provide in the form of spare goods and clothing. They do not really have to be expensive or extravagant. Everything is purely voluntary and for a good cause.

Fund drives cater to simple undertakings and are not made to extort money that would go to the organizing committee’s wallets. They are purely brainstormed programs to raise money for a good cause to help our brothers and sisters in need. Usually, these types of projects would be found in educational institutions or villages.

In any case, any form of help that can be extended or spared will be highly appreciated by people who are left with no alternative choice for help. But to them, such contributions and donations are far more valuable since they would really have nothing much to rely on.

Disaster Relief Groups: The First Respondents to Disaster

Written by Merve on January 18, 2007

For the last couple of years, the natural disasters as we have heard such as the famous Tsunami, earthquakes, and super typhoons have added to the already miserable lives of the unfortunate people of today. There have been a number of people who have perished while the ones who did not would need to claw their way back to get back on their feet.

Disaster relief missions provide a temporary assistance, especially to stricken regions and countries. This is the beauty of what allied nations have today. Despite political indifferences, in times of need, this doesn’t matter. The Red Cross is usually the first one to respond to such needs and this has been their trademark for some years now.

While there are people who do not think twice, the joint efforts for such disaster stricken countries is highly commendable. Without such efforts, who knows how many people may have suffered a worst fate today.
