Giving to Charity Wholeheartedly

February 23, 2007 By Charities Blog

We all here that giving to charity is a good Samaritan’s deed. Sadly, people are not entirely aware of why they are doing charity work. Some would even do it for building their image or for some other reason to get attention and commendations for their supposed efforts. However, it has been forgotten that charities are done for the purpose of lending a helping hand without expecting anything in return. The only probable return is the feeling of happiness where a person is able to contribute his way towards actually helping people in need of it.

Volunteers for Charity

Charity work should always come from the heart and not the mind. Taking into consideration that people have the excess funds and resources to donate and help people who have misfortunes in their means of living is something that will depend on the actual purpose for helping them out. Charity and donation should be done with an open heart, the reward of which is the tingling feeling we all feel inside for contributing to a worthy cause.

The Children of Hope of UNICEF

February 13, 2007 By Charities Blog

All over the world, there are a number of children and abandoned kids that have wandered off into the world without direction. Some would not immediately understand why they followed such plights in their lives but if looked up close, it is more of fate rather than choice that placed them in such situations. By this, it means that children are not to be blamed for being existent but rather the mindless people who would care more about themselves rather than what they have brought out in the world.

Children of Hope

But to argue and continuously put the blame will not remedy the problem at hand. The best thing is to find alternative solutions such as looking for potential foster homes or new people to take care of them so that they may be put back on the right track.

This is what some organizations such as UNICEF aims to develop. It is not more about prestige, but making life meaningful to the younger beings that are totally wandering in the world without purpose.

Guidance for the Wandering Children

February 5, 2007 By Charities Blog

Misguidance and lack of moral training is what younger children of today lack. Such can be seen in their actions and beliefs, believing in things and practicing unusual behavior that is mostly inherited from actual experiences and minimal knowledge inherited. Their elders would come from varied backgrounds, obviously lacking in directing and teach them the right and wrong things about how to live their lives.

Juvenile Delinquent

Most of them become juvenile delinquents and become connected to acts which most would consider as unbecoming based on their age. While the origin from their upbringing is a useless recourse, orphanages and correctional facilities are put up to set them towards the right direction.

But for these groups to be maintained, funding and help from people who want to improve the well-being of such members of our society is needed. Setting these children in the right direction is one thing but to support through funding is another hence the need for aid from various good hearted souls a necessity.

Sharing with the Less Fortunate People of Today

January 6, 2007 By Charities Blog

All over the world, poverty and the less fortunate people who cannot even have the chance to see articles and blog entries such as this would certainly be a wakeup call already. People have been abandoned, disabled and financially incapacitated are spread all over the world, hence the charitable fund drives that we are all aware of as set by people who do them for a cause.

The Less Fortunate Children of Poverty

The most pitiful sight would be that of children who did not choose to be where they are. Blaming others for their misfortunes is a foregone conclusion and the best that most people can do is do their small part in extending any form of assistance that these people certainly need.

Old clothes, food donations or even a penny saved for a rainy day wouldn’t really hurt if donated to the people who value them most. It is not really hard for people to spare if they are sincere in their efforts to lend a helping hand today.
